We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our Sales Team. Reporting directly to our Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing new business strategies, generating new business leads, pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals and promoting Push.

You will have a hunger for digital marketing and a significant interest in new platforms and channels.

Key responsibilities

  • Actively prospect (cold sales) targets developing them into sales along with converting our inbound (warm) leads.
  • To develop a strong understanding of the products, competition, industry, marketing goals and objectives of prospective Push clients including services offered and pricing
  • Liaise with Sales Director to determine the range of services to be sold
  • Assist in the development of the Push sales strategy
  • Prepare quarterly sales analysis reports
  • Developing sales audits and proposals in accordance with the Push guidelines
  • Pitching to prospective clients
  • Attending events to support the team with opportunities to present on stage and on webinars
  • Qualifying and following up with event attendees and new leads
  • Preparing customer set up agreements for all new clients and liaising with admin and finance teams to implement customer set up
  • To efficiently manage your workload and accurately record your time
  • To ensure admin regarding your sales pipeline is kept up to date

Key competencies

  • Highly numerate with business acumen
  • 2 year + Experience in sales (digital marketing sales environment highly desirable and we will consider applicants with less sales experience who have worked as digital account managers)
  • Commercially aware
  • Excellent at building relationships across mediums, via email, LinkedIn, telephone and face to face.
  • Literate with the ability to produce good quality written reports.
  • Analytical, with the ability to interpret information, news, data and research quickly and focus on the most relevant information for strategic development.
  • Basic knowledge of major digital advertising platforms such as Google, Facebook and how businesses utilise them.
